The project was created to strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions and partner organisations, to develop innovative teaching methods and to create practical results that respond to today’s educational challenges. Through international cooperation, the partners exchange experience, develop new solutions and support the development of the competences of students, academic staff and other project participants.

The project is being carried out under the Erasmus+ 2025 – Round 1, Cooperation Partnerships in Higher Education (KA220-HED) call.

The project is co-funded by the European Union. The views and opinions expressed are solely those of the author(s) and do not necessarily reflect the position of the European Union or the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE). SAMPLE – modern education for sustainable entrepreneurship

SAMPLE is an international Erasmus+ project that aims to support students, academic teachers and universities in developing competences related to sustainable entrepreneurship, digital innovation and artificial intelligence.

The project is delivered by partners from Poland, Ireland, Turkey, Italy and Serbia. Together, we are creating modern educational materials and an online platform that will help better prepare young people for the challenges of today’s labour market and for running a business responsibly.

As part of the SAMPLE project, the following will be developed:

  • interactive training materials,
  • practical scenarios and case studies,
  • a guide for academic teachers,
  • an e-learning platform,
  • a system of micro-credentials confirming the competences gained.

The materials will be available in several languages and tested by students and experts from various European countries.

SAMPLE – a new face of academic entrepreneurship

A great deal has already been said about student entrepreneurship. Hundreds of publications, support programmes and initiatives have been created to encourage young people to start their own businesses. In recent years, the very understanding of what entrepreneurship is has also changed. Today, it is no longer only about creating start-ups or making a profit.

More and more often, we ask ourselves: how do we educate young people so that they can create solutions that respond to real social and environmental challenges? How do we develop entrepreneurship based on responsibility, cooperation and the courage to bring about positive change?

That is exactly why the SAMPLE project was created – a fresh look at academic entrepreneurship and an attempt to show it from a slightly different perspective. It brings new energy to the discussion about how to prepare students for a world that is changing faster than ever before.

SAMPLE is an international project carried out under the Erasmus+ (KA220-HED) programme from 01/10/2025 to 30/09/2027, in cooperation with partners from several European countries. It brings together the experience of universities, organisations and experts who are jointly seeking new ways to develop entrepreneurial competences among students.

The project will produce modern educational materials, guides for academic staff and digital tools to support the learning process. Particular attention will be given to issues related to sustainable development, innovation, creativity, teamwork and the responsible design of ventures that respond to the needs of the modern world.

For the GELISME Foundation, taking part in the SAMPLE project is of particular importance. For us, this is not just another international initiative. The project activities are based on the many years of research interests and experience of our Foundation’s members, related to entrepreneurship, social innovation, education and sustainable development. We believe that academic knowledge is most valuable when it translates into practical action and a real impact on the world around us.

With SAMPLE, we want to show students that entrepreneurship can have many faces. It can be a tool for social change. It can help build a more sustainable future. It can teach cooperation, responsibility and agency. And above all, it can give young people the courage to act and the conviction that their ideas truly matter.

We invite you to follow the SAMPLE project and to discover together what the entrepreneurship of tomorrow might look like.
